The Muffin Man was out picking up his parents from the airport, so I made myself some miso soup with rice (leftover from dinner last night) and had some aspirin. That helped some, so I had a carrot from our garden . Then the Muffin Man came home and made me my lemon-ginger tea.

what a relief. i was worried i'd have to revise my (so far quite positive) image of the muffin man, if he was neglecting you in your time of need. i see i had nothing to worry about.
