I tried to get my husband interested in a tablet. He never did. So finally I bought him his own Chromebook, which he can use when the kids are hogging his desk top. I use it to (when they are hogging mine) and it's really, really nice. (If I could run Calibre on it, I would get my own and use it for everything).

Three of my 4 children love tablets, they each have their own, plus they can use the Fire HD'13 and the Nook HD+. I think we have 8 tablets. So yes, I like them. My 3 personal tablets all run kitkat. I think my favorite is the Fire HD'12 running n2a Kitkat. It's really nice, now. The Nexus 7 is nice, of course, but incredibly narrow.

But for reading fiction, (since this is mobileread!) I use my e-ink readers 99% of the time. I just love them.
