Born of a desire for a way to film magical effects without bothering to remove modern elements such as airplanes and telephone poles, our straying into the 'verse of Dresden's Chicago were done out of a fierce love of the books, respect for their author, and straight up geekdom.
I first posted this back in February and thought it would be a good idea to re-post it at this time.
