- 118. Say It With Poison by Ann Granger (3 Nov, MMP)

The three mass-market paperbacks were owed from online swaps, and they've been mailed off. I was eager to get back to the Kindle, so I quickly read Soul Identity. I don't remember who suggested it, but I'm so glad that I heard about it here at MobileRead. It's a fantastic book. I've read a number of self-published books recently, particularly since many of these are available in eBook formats. I do have to say that this book stands out as one of the very best.
I'm currently re-reading Once a Hero by Elizabeth Moon which I picked up in the October 2008 Webscription bundle. As an experiment, I loaded onto my new Blackberry. I had been skeptical that I'd enjoy reading on the small screen, but it's not bad at all. And, one can be a bit more subversive with the small device than with a full-sized reader.
Also reading 4th of July by James Patterson (paperback), Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson (Sony) and Club Dead by Charlaine Harris (Kindle). I bought A Passage to India for the Kindle and read the first 2 or 3 "pages", then set it aside because I had something more interesting at hand. Will get back to it this week so I'll be ready for discussion next week.
