Cadogan, Edward: The Life of Cavour, v1, 10 Nov 2008
A biography of a famous Italian diplomat, Camillo Cavour. It was as much through his efforts as any that Italy, dismembered in 1815 became a nation by the mid 1860s. It was through his efforts that Italy did not go through the horrors and instability of the type that plagued France throughout the 19th century.
This book is in copyright everywhere but the US because although this work was written in 1907, the author died in 1964.
