I own both a Sony PRS-950 and a Kobo Aura HD. After using the Sony for a while, I noticed its screen had tiny scratches on it, so I put a screen protector on it. When I bought the Kobo, I decided to put a screen protector on it from the beginning so it wouldn't get scratched, but the bubbles bothered me so much I took it off after a week. I've used the Kobo every day for more than a year now, and the screen looks as good as new. I'm really picky about stuff like this, and I am very impressed with the durability of the Kobo's screen.
