I am not bothered by the lag between page turns. I'm one of those people who don't even notice them and only recognize that they are there because people say so.
It doesn't affect my reading.
I am bothered by the amount of time it takes to to move from screen to screen when I am searching for my next book. I do notice the lag there, but fortunately, my Sony has a good search feature and I can just look up the book I want instead of paging through screens. (My Kindle, on the other hand, takes so long to load up search that I've never even used it; I get impatient waiting for it and end up just paging through every screen and hope that I catch the title on the first pass.)
But my problems are on the home screens; for actual reading, I have no issue at all.
