Yes, there would be 'political' danger rather than physical. Probably take a day or three and some 'tea money' changing hands to sort out. But nothing more than that. Being American with an Asian wife, both of us with cameras, makes military and political people think we are an investigative photojournalist team, and on the Burmese border side of Thailand that has caused us some rather scarey moments with our hands up while looking down the barrels of soldier's machine guns... while we try to convince them we are just poor lost tourists. (That time, we WERE doing an investigation of the burning of a Burmese village and execution of all the villagers by a rogue Thai General...but we didn't admit to it.

Thanks. We should be. We're bringing lots of 'Tiger Balm.' With liberal application, we have never once been attacked by a tiger while in the jungles.
