They had both the abridged and the unabridged available. I got both. However the unabridged is 41 hrs 57 mins vs the abridged at 14 hrs 20 mins. When I get around to listening, the odds are very good I will opt for the abridged.

When the abridged version requires such a big chunk of time, I'd be
less likely to choose it. I'd hate to devote so many hours and still feel like I hadn't actually read the real book.
