Those 2011 models really had some big issues. Mine is a late 2011 too, except the 13" version.
That's just too many machines for me. I'd love to have a nice desktop and laptop, but there's no point. For me, there's very little use for a laptop. I'm just sitting at my desk using my MBP for example, the only other place I use it is in bed, my living room, in a hotel room, and my grandmother's house.

Good, enjoy your devices and leave us alone. I'll still have my iPhone 5S in three years time while you'd have said the same thing about whatever new device comes out then.
I tried three years of Android, but at the end I just prefer iOS. There's a lot of things besides the size of the display that matters in an operating system.
