Really, it's a questionable proposition if you are not in Europe. I've just read of one new owner's device resetting a lot. Also someone in N.America has one of those big Sonys and its playing up. Getting support is going to be an expensive business, and neither device is cheap to begin with.

Well, if you buy it from Amazon, you can return it directly to them if it messes up within the first 30 days...after that, you would have to contact the manufacturer. Also, it looks like you get a 2 year warranty if you buy it from Amazon, compared to the 1 year warranty from the manufacturer's website.
