Before posting it, I noticed the low amount of pages but didn't think any more about it. I don't know much about fiction or the authors who wrote it.

After your message I went back to the webpage for the book and noticed that all of the "most helpful customer reviews" were over 10 years old! That's strange. If I had seen that, that alone would have raised a red flag.

I'm putting an update on the post. I hope that you will report the issue with the book to Amazon.
