But on the Glo, it's not always the case. Most of the time it's sensitive enough, but there are times I need to tap more than once to turn the page. I suppose it takes some time to know how I should tap the screen with the right force or on the best spots.

It may not be a sensitivity issue. I think the ereaders are very aggressive at going to sleep when nothing has happened for some time (a minute or two) to save on power. When they do go to sleep, you usually have to touch it once just to wake it up before it accepts your command.
