A friend once had a cat that when it had to throw up it always tried to do so in the litter box. The cat wasn't trained to do so but did so by herself.
After cleaning up another hairball I wonder if this behaviour can be trained. Luckily Lexie isn't as bad as Nikita, who always tried to set a record for the furthest projectile vomiting and always vomited three times. Lexie does, however, revenge-puke when I'm away.
