Maybe that's why Sony feels they can pump up to 100K titles. Publisher's are *now* beginning to spread the wealth after Amazon softened them up.

There is no way for *me* to answer your question. I'm in the Kindle store daily and my impression is that there are way more books published by publishing houses (large and small) than there are self-published titles.
