We see the same phenomenon here at MR. Whenever a new device is released, there are people who rave about how wonderful it is, and how it's the best thing ever. Then, after people use it for a while, there's a reaction from people who are upset by some minor problem and declare that it's the worst device ever. After a while, things tend to reach a more balanced judgement.
