I went and looked at the fire phone pre-order page. It's $199 with plan, and a year of prime comes with that price.
What turns me off it isn't the phone, it's the plan. I need minimal talk & text, but large amts of data. Few phone plans do that
which is why I just have a hotspot.
The nearest plan they have has 450 minutes of talk, text pay-per-text, and with 5gb of data that comes to $89 a month. I get my hotspot with 5Gb for $49 per month. So no.
