V3.3.5d works. no issues. I retain title as file name instead of book id. even though file names have extra periods like before, it has no effect on bringing up all readers (including moon+ isilo) without any isuues.
so
I can have book title as file name now.
all readers show up for relevant file mime types.
backup issue for reinstalling solved with titanium.
only if I could select multiple books to send to app.
