Well, I've been reading this one, and I have to admit I've been enjoying the heck out of it. Some of the characters are a bit cliched, but the writing is quite competent, and the pacing is great. Short chapters, punchy descriptions, and a lot of action. I thought I might hate it, but it has been one of the most enjoyable popcorn reads I've had in a while.:
