I can see how an insert cover tool might be useful, but general templates, not so much. Templates are a subset of snips, so instead of creating an file pre-filled with template you create a blank file and then trigger the appropriate snip to fill it with boilerplate. Of course, I still have to implement snips

What I'm saying is that I'd much rather implement snips, a more general tool than templates.
