They were fine opinions, they just differed in approach and philosophy. If you were going to only write out an epub, then a two-pass approach where everything is written out in the main routine and only once, would be an excellent approach. I don't know what "Draco" even is but if we can search and find a repository on the web that shows is is GPL or BSD, then all is fine. So don't remove it yet. Give us a chance to look and find the Draco repository and license to verify all is okay first.

If you want, I would be happy to handle adding the command line switch to use HDImages if available and handle overwriting the Image files into the proper place and name in the mobi8 tree.

That way you can focus on the epub3 changes.
