The NASB with notes is in the AZW3 format, which includes an embedded epub. If you're handy with Calibre, you can use Calibre to remove the DRM and then use the KindleUnpack plugin to extract the (more-or-less) original epub without actually having to do a conversion. If you might want to go that route, you can try it out on the sample to see if it ends up being to your taste.

I do all my reading on an Android tablet, so I ended up using Bible apps for the NASB. I bought it a long time ago for Logos and so still have access to it from their Android app. I also just recently bought it to use in the Tecarta app for $4.99 (well, I used a bunch of free Amazon Coins, so I ultimately got it for free) and am happy with that one, as well.

If you happen to start looking at the Tecarta app, download the free KJV version first and check the in-app prices first because the in-app purchase prices are sometimes different than the bundled app from the stores.
