My first thought on reading that was that some librarians had contacted Overdrive and voiced concern that there was going to be a sudden glut of self-published books. It honestly didn't imply "
thoughtful research and planning" to me. Rather, to me, it implied a rushed fix.
I've no idea which of us is right. We may never know.
