Well, if you can't get Kobo to help for whatever reason I'd guess that you can probably find someone in Singapore with the appropriate skills and equipment to fix it. My guess is almost any decent cell phone or HDTV repair shop could resolder the micro USB port for you with a minimum of fuss.
