There is no full color eink nor is it likely there will be full color eink any time soon.
Amazon would not have bought Liquavista and dumped money into it if they expected full color eink anytime soon.
They *know* exactly what eink is working on and that is not on the horizon.

What the Fire phone has is a bright screen and circular polarization filters to make it better in sunlight than if it didn't. Better does not necessarilly mean good, though.
