My favorite graphic horror is
Uzumaki by Junji Ito. It is a 600 page epic consisting of several tales from a small village that suffers from a strange curse relating to the spiral shape.
You said you wont be interested in gore. Okay, I must admit that it got quite a lot of that! But it's always part of the story, not just thrown in, and the overall style is quite 'lovecraftian'. Junji Ito has dedicated himself to the horror genre, and this can really be seen on his graphic artwork.
The manga was made into a movie in 2000, one of the most original asian horror movies. It was made before the manga was finished, so the movie had to figure out its own ending.
