Personally I let it get to around 1/3 full, and then recharge it, but that's just because I don't want to run the risk of it running flat in the middle of a reading session. It makes no difference to the battery life whether you top it up every day, or let it drain to the "low battery" warning before you recharge. Do whatever suits you best.
