There was a thread over on Kboard in the book corner where a think two people discussed their opinions. If I recall correctly (and this is somewhat doubtful) I think they were mad that they couldn't see the selection without creating an account. But I think one person had before the SCRIBD announcement. I just don't remember what they thought of it.

I have "sold" reads on SCRIBD, but not on Oyster. I'm not sure that says anything at all. I suspect that getting those books from S&S moved the bar quite high. I don't think Inkbok stands a chance of being noticed unless they can get the publishers to sign on with them as well.
