I don't think Nook as an entire entity is going anywhere soon, but there may not be too many more generations of the eInk reader. The Samsung Tab they're "replacing" their house tablets with will mean the "new" Tab 4.0 Nook has a crappier screen than the "old" Nook HD, but it's probably smart of them to not go ahead with another generation of Nook brand tablets.
