Au contraire, m'dear! I'm happy to report: new NOOK color tablet devices are scheduled to hit the store shelves in August 2014, as per this MobileRead thread - "Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook: B&N to use Samsung Hardware" - and the sources feeding "Wikipedia: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 Nook".
