It seems to be One Of Those Days.

First the chain of my bike comes off halfway to the supermarket, so I had to walk back home. The quickest way is through the pedestrian area, where I got stopped by police officers handing out tickets to cyclists. Despite the fact that I wasn't cycling and told them I wouldn't be able to I get a telling off because I probably would have done so if my chain wasn't off (I wouldn't since cyclists in the pedestrian area is one of my biggest pet peeves).

Back home I put my bike in the store (more space to work) and take off the chain cover as far as possible. I only can't get the chain back on because I can't lift the back wheel, turn the pedals, stop the bike from falling and hold the bottom chain cover in place (otherwise it snags on the turning chain) all at the same time, I tried several times. Meanwhile, customers are knocking on the window because they think since I'm in the store I should help them and Lexie is screaming at the top of the stairs because she's all alone.

I gave up on my bike and I'm now waiting for my parents to return from their errands so hopefully my father is willing to help me (chances are he thinks I should be able to solve the problem myself).
