@kovid, thanks for the explanation, actually in practice the problem is rare as most books have some styling at <body> level. The point about Live CSS displaying the tag and line number is only true where the tag name is short as I find the line number is usually lost to the right of the window and there is no capability to scroll the Live CSS window horizontally. To get the full info I need to make the Live CSS window full screen to check I am on the right line.

At least now that I'm aware of the issue I need to be more meticulous in making sure that Live CSS is showing what I think it is showing on those books with no styling at <body> level.

Any chance of being able to horizontally scroll the Live CSS window ?
