I just found this one interesting, that's all. I
bought it, even though it's in a subject area of which I don't usually buy books. And as miser . . . er . . . I mean thrifty as I am, that says a lot.
I wonder about the practicality of it. I mean, in every Chinese restaurant that I've been in, at least one of the staff knew enough English that I could communicate in English. Maybe the book is intended for travelers to China? Too, learning all 246 pages of material in this book
overnight is more than a little ambitious unless you have a photographic memory, don't you think? Of course, I hear that overnight in the Arctic or Antarctica can be several months long.
I'm beginning to wonder now if I shouldn't have made this book a "Funny Kindle of the Day (or Whenever)" . . . .
