Anyway, I am surprised Kobo doesn't offer kindle formats. I don't buy from Amazon on principle, but I am sure there are a lot of others, who do, and read primarily on Kindle.

There could be licensing reasons or they competition reasons. I would also appreciate multiple formats, but so far I can deal with it. When I buy direct from publishers they usually have Kindle formatting. I think one time I avoided a direct purchase because they didn't offer kindle formatting.
