I've never bought anything from them, but they're a well-known company and I seriously doubt they would send you a blacklisted board. But
definitely ask first.
EDIT: BTW, this wasn't my idea. I read it somewhere else on this site (and the other person is the one who suggested the parts company). I, unknowingly, bought a blacklisted K3 at a pawn shop. Called Amazon and they told me to return it to the pawn shop. I was hoping they might want to get it back to the owner. So, taking another person's advice here, I made it into a non-connected eReader. (My Dad won't use WiFi anyhow, so it will go to him.)
