I got a very nice email today from friends asking if it was possible if I had the time and felt like it that I can look after their house and dog for three weeks in August.
Last September I was kinda blunt to her when she kept pushing me to commit to dog-sitting this summer. I told her I didn't know what my plans would be this summer.
August isn't a problem for me. I was planning a 4 day trip to Newcastle-upon-Tyne for late July and my sister and I was to go away for a long weekend in September, probably to Brussels, so I told it was no problem.
The fact that I didn't have to be on stand-by every weekend since April in case the weather was good enough for them to go to the camping also helped and they've finally did something to prevent the crazy behaviour of their dog during walks.
