Agreed. Hockey has similar issues and are trying to address it. Part if the problem is the field is very large and the referee does not have all of the angles we have for replays. A sucky call to decide a game, but if it was boxing it would give been a unanimous decision.
For me if ends up being part of the lore like the hand of God.
