I have removed the Kindle User Guides on numerous occasions -- I cannot remember about the dictionaries but I have a feeling it was the same. They removed the ability (loophole?) around the time they tested the
old new interface.
I never liked the idea of having any guides, much less multiple versions in multiple languages. I have a vague recollection that I removed the non-English dictionaries as well.
