I'm reading now one of the best "little" books on philosophy and ethics I've read in many years. The book is "Would You Kill the Fat Man? The Trolley Problem and What Your Answer Tells Us About Right and Wrong" by David Edmonds.

Although not directly on topic, this book, which I preordered and expect to arrive today, strikes me as a book worth reading on morality: "Why the Germans? Why the Jews?: Envy, Race Hatred, and the Prehistory of the Holocaust" by Gotz Aly
