I don't blame you there, I recently got hooked on Douglas Preston myself
Just finished Blasphemy not too long ago and read Relic, Reliquary, Tyrannosaur Canyon, and Mount Dragon.
Michael Crichton was also one of my faves -- read all of his published novels. So sad to lose such a great storyteller.
