Smile Kindle Fire HDX Email App issue

My original Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 with 4G, Wireless, 64G was replaced by Amazon under their one year warranty plan; my Kindle was replaced due to a defect with the display. Replacement was a refurbished unit.
The refurbished Kindle was unable to access my email server, using the Email App, unless I was connected by WIFI, it would not connect with just the 4G, even though the Silk browser worked fine with just 4G. My email provider is AT&T Yahoo Mail. Today I was not able to connect to the Yahoo Mail server even with the WIFI. There is a bug in the Kindle Email App I think.
I used the Mayday help feature 3 days in a row and each time the Kindle specialist was stumped by this problem. Their developers are looking into this issue.
Amazon is now sending me a 3rd replacement and they assured me that this one will not be a refurbished model and hopefully will not have same problem.
Was wondering if anyone else is aware of this issue ?
