That's where the "second editions" of those books come from, too. When Baen inked their Amazon deal, Amazon didn't want to be in the position of selling the same thing that the Free Library was giving away, so Baen adds a little something (usually an intro or foreword, IIRC) to make the for-sale Second Edition versions just a little different. The originals are still free, but there's also a for-sale-and-royalties version, so everyone's happy.
