B&N DRM is compatible with ADE as in you can open a B&N ePub in ADE 2.0+, but it's not readable with the Adobe RMSDK used on the Kobo for Adobe DRM'd books because they haven't enabled support for that form of the DRM key (they only support Adobe ID).
