e-books don't have pages, they have screens of reflowable text and images. So just how (order) does the 'duplicates' appear? 1 after another using next screen swipe/button or later (repeats a section of the book)
If your book has duplicated Chapters (consists of file per chapter internally), the editor can be used to delete the extra pieces . Slightly more work is to SPLIT up a monolithic book into chapter per file using the editor. Then delete the duplicated pieces (now files)

When I click the next "screen" it is the same content as the last one. Then after that is a new one, which is repeated as well. So each screen appears twice throughout the whole book. So it goes screen 1, screen 1, screen 2, screen 2, etc...
