Don't forget that Amazon themselves screwed customers over big time when they stopped selling eBooks (before the Kindle) and stopped allowing downloads of already purchased eBooks. When people needed to download their PDF again in order to update the DRM, they were unable because Amazon just simply stopped allowing that. So remember, even Amazon is guilty of screwing over customers and causing them to lose access to their legally purchased content.
