Thank you very much for the info. If you have not posted the letter on Mobileread before, I am especially glad that you did now.

I am pressed for time today, and I don't have time to read and digest the contents of the letter, and additionally go back and do the same for the information on the gentleman's website, but what I will say following assumes 1) that the letter addresses the particular issue of what the gentleman with the website does and informs other people how to do, and 2) that there is a conflict. If someone sees that different, please let me know.

If you don't mind, I will send a copy of the letter to the gentleman hosting the gospelebooks.net website.

This situation reminds me of that regarding the Internal Revenue Service. They have reps who answer the phone and answer taxpayers' questions. But, there are always disclaimers that if the information that they give is wrong, and the taxpayer follows the rep's information, the taxpayer is still responsible for the taxes that should have been paid, penalties owed because of the taxes not being paid, etc. As I mentioned, the Amazon rep gave certain information to the man who posted the information on his website, but what you have apparently is the official policy of Amazon. In simple terms, what the rep said doesn't matter.
