I wasn't saying there should be no humor at all, or anything absolute.
I'm aware conversation usually go off-topic here and there.
If it's too easy painting what was said into a strawman, then consider the ratio of humor / serious&useful information. Or the ratio on topic / off topic.
It seemed to me that the original post had some kid of purpose, and that it is now full of private jokes (whose humor is not strong enough to sway outsiders).
I'm not asking everyone to put tag on each of their post (TechniSol, your warning about sarcasm was superfluous). But either this thread wasn't serious from the get go, and a tag or a warning in the first message of such thread would be nice (see my first post about how we could, then, treat them), either it was serious and hijacked pretty fast.
If this thread is about Kobo rumour and what's likely true/false, I don't want to crawl through countless inside jokes, which are, sorry to say, merely copies of one another. I've read it once already, thank you.
Now, sorry to be some kind of party pooper, and I won't be disrupting this thread anymore so you can keep on doing this funny thing you are doing together, just please think about how useful a tag would be for high noise/utility ratio threads.
Oh and I forgot: "ahah".
