Back to my rant...
There are 30 new trees in the lobby this afternoon. It's a Junior League thing, or some such civic group. Teams can pay $150 to enter the contest, then they decorate a tree. I presume there will be prizes. It's to raise money for a childrens' charity. Still seems too early to be so thickly decorated. But I'm starting to get over it and hoping they start the piano recitals soon. A local piano company lends a grand piano, and local piano teachers bring their students to perform in the lobby. It's always fun to see the little kiddos plink their way through "Jolly Old St. Nicholas," which, as you should already know, is the easiest song to learn. And it is all single notes, until the final 3 notes which are the showstoppers: Chords.
