I know that all Mobilereaders have been waiting with bated breath for the next "funny Kindle of the Day (or Whenever)." It has been several days since I have posted one, due to matters to take care of which were more pressing. But, fear not, I have one for you today!
Again, I do not intend to offend. GtrsRGr8 (from henceforth, he will use the rhetorical third person and "Gtrs" for short) does not believe in the paranormal--no visitors from outer space, no ESP, no bending spoons with thoughts alone, no ghosts, none of it. That's why he finds this ebook funny.
It took all of the self-control that Gtrs could muster to keep himself from posting this on one of the fiction threads, but he behaved himself, and as the libraries would do with a book on such a topic, he placed it in the "non-fiction" area.
In the book, "Granny Ghost Hunter" visits various touristy places with her camera and takes photographs. She doesn't see anything unusual while in these places, but when the photos are developed, there are anomalies--spots, outlines of people or animals, and so on--that are on the photographs!
Gtrs, being an unbeliever in the paranormal, thinks that Granny must be lighting her cigarettes in the darkroom while she is developing the photographs, and double-exposing some photos by forgetting (that happens more and more as you get older, you know) to advance the film by a frame for the next shot. Too, he wonders why this has happened apparently only on Granny's photographs at these places, and no one else's. But, you can see what you think.
Gtrs is glad to say that this Kindle is free; he tries to post only free funny Kindles of the day, but sometimes that is impossible. So, if you wish to obtain it, it won't cost you a cent, at this moment in time (double-check that before buying). And Gtrs? Well, unfortunately, he . . . uh . . . doesn't have room on his little 3 tb hard drive for it. In all seriousness, however, Gtrs believes that the book does have some redeeming qualities--there is some nice information about, and photos of, the places that Granny visited.

Shelagh McHardy is an “ordinary” mum and grandmother. 3 years ago, she started visiting historical locations and found, to her surprise, that the photographs she had taken contained some extremely strange and often unexplainable “oddities” within.
Granny Ghost Hunter
tells the story of her journey, the research she has undertaken and her in-depth investigation into the paranormal. Covering locations in England, Scotland, Europe and Africa, the book contains numerous genuine photographs of some very strange anomalies ..... Ghosts?
Giving a balanced view-point on what she has discovered, she invites debate in the hope that an answer can be found to the question we all ask at one time or another — “Is there life after death”?
