I have a 505 and I played with the 700 last night. All I can say if I was looking at buying a 505 or 700. I would buy a 700. It was better in every way.
As for the screen it works w/o the stylus. The resolution is the same, and the speed is faster. Plus there is a zoom/font increase (5 fonts).
